One day, Thomas Edison came home and gave a paper to his mother. He told her, “My teacher gave me this paper and told me to give it only to you.” Edison enquired from her, “What is written on the Paper?”

His mother’s eyes were full of tears as she read the letter out loud to her beloved child, ” Your son is a genius. The school is too small for him& doesn’t have enough good teachers to train him. Please teach him yourself at home.”

Many many years after he became the greatest inventor of the century and Edison’s mother had died , he was looking through some old family papers and he saw a folded paper in the corner. He opened it and on it was written, ‘Your son is addled(Mentally ill), we can’t have him in the school anymore.’

Edison on reading that cried for hours and then he wrote in his diary, ‘ Thomas Alva Edison was an Addled child that, by a loving and hero mother, became the genius of the century.’

MOTHER

A word that means the world.
My mom has made me laugh, wiped my tears,
Hugged me tight,
Watched me succeed,
Seen me fall,
Cheered me on,
Kept me going strong & Drove me a little crazy at times,
But mothers are a promise that you will have a friend forever!
I Have one! But she is in heaven now. I daily miss her
May her blessings always remain.
Happy Mothers Day!
Stay blessed forever.
